Collaboration

One of Valley Invicta Academies Trust's values is collaboration.

By working together as one cohesive team across all of our schools, along with our teacher training programme, we can ensure that best practice is shared and that we continuously learn from one another.

Our pupils and students benefit from shared facilities such as our sports halls and outdoor learning area, as well as in specific subjects such as modern foreign languages where the Trust employs a teacher who works across all five primary schools. Additionally, some secondary students attend classes in other VIAT schools on the main campus to study particular subjects.

Staff work closely with colleagues from other schools within the Trust which allows them to move into different areas of teaching more easily and develop their knowledge and understanding in-house.

There is no doubt that, by working together, we can achieve more. We can solve problems as a team, help each other develop, enjoy more opportunities which boosts morale, and increases staff retention and efficiency across the organisation.
