Marelle Giles

Marelle has enjoyed teaching religious studies for almost 25 years and more recently has also branched into teaching classical civilisation.

She joined Invicta Grammar School in 2008 as an assistant headteacher, becoming head of school in September 2021.

Marelle believes that a successful school is built on collaboration between students, staff and parents/carers who all commit themselves to a shared vision with shared values. The keystone of this collective effort is the affirmation that education is the great social lever, with the ability to transform the life chances of young people, expand horizons of knowledge and understanding, enable ambitions, and create curious and thoughtful future citizens.

In her spare time, Marelle likes swimming and exploring the world.
