Helen Bonser-Wilton

Helen Bonser-Wilton joined VIAT as a Trustee in 2023 and is the Chief Executive of Leeds Castle Foundation.

Helen achieved an Honours degree in German and Spanish and started her career in Advertising Agencies as an Account Manager.  She then moved into Brand and Marketing with Crown Paint and was Group Marketing Manager at Bernstein Kitchens.

Helen then joined the National Trust in Devon and Cornwall as Marketing and Commercial Development Manager, after five years, she became Project Director at Tyntesfield Estate in Bristol, then Operations Director in the South West.  

Helen was Chief Executive of the Mary Rose Trust in Portsmouth for five years and joined Leeds Castle in 2021 where she is overseeing a programme of development and transformation work.
