Julie Derrick
Julie Derrick is CEO of Valley Invicta Academies Trust. Before that, she was Headteacher at Invicta Grammar School and joint CEO of VIAT.
She started her career with the Trust in 2004 by leading the Business and Enterprise Specialism as Assistant Headteacher. Along with teaching GCSE, A Level Business Studies and Economics, Julie assumed responsibility as Deputy Head for Curriculum, Data Management, Enrichment, Gifted and Talented, and Assessment and Reporting, befoer becoming Headteacher - a role she carried out for ten years.
Chief Executive Officer
Following a number of years at Invicta Grammar School as a Business and Economics teacher and then Headteacher for ten years, Julie took on the role of co-CEO for VIAT in 2016. Now, Julie is sole CEO of the Trust. She is also a Trustee.
