Ryan Royston

Ryan joined SST Maidstone as head of school in January 2023 and became headteacher in 2024, having previously worked as a senior leader across three diverse schools in three different local authorities.

He fully believes in leading with integrity, honesty, openness and selflessness to provide direction and a clear vision to ensure the school becomes an education institute that the whole school community can be proud of.

Outside work, Ryan is a family man and a keen sportsman. He originally trained as a PE teacher and played to a high standard in both tennis and football (playing nearly 100 games for Maidstone United).
