Shaun in the Heart of Kent
Valley Invicta Primary Schools at East Borough and Leybourne Chase, and Invicta Grammar School, are currently taking part in a project to raise money for the Heart of Kent Hospice.
The Shaun in the Heart of Kent initiative follows the hugely successful Elmer’s Big Heart of Kent Parade in 2021, which saw 82 uniquely decorated Elmer elephants placed in a range of locations across Maidstone.
The latest project will see much-loved character Shaun the Sheep have his own art trail across our County Town from 29 June to 30 August 2024!
For now, lots of undecorated Shauns have been delivered to those taking part, so they can be painted and join the ‘flock’ next year.
Pupils and students in our schools have entered competitions to determine how their Shauns will be decorated, so keep an eye out for the winning designs!
