Visitors to our schools (COVID-19 guidelines)
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines in place, we are currently operating an essential visitor only policy at all schools across Valley Invicta Academies Trust.
We are following advice from Public Health England so we are limiting access to our school sites. If you are unsure as to whether your proposed visit is considered essential, please email or phone the School Office to ask for advice.
If your visit is essential, we still ask that you refrain from attending if:
- you have travelled from or transited through any of the countries or areas that have been on lockdown, or required a quarantine period, in the past 14 days;
- you have developed a fever (above 37.8C) or a new, continuous cough within the last seven days;
- anyone in your household is required to self-isolate in accordance with Government guidelines.
Along with all members of our school communities, any visitors must wash their hands with soap and water before leaving home and once they arrive on site. Gel hand sanitiser will also be available on arrival and throughout your visit.
We would also like to advise that all our schools are currently operating a ‘no handshake’ policy.
We apologise for not being able to give you our usual warm welcome, but we must take the current situation very seriously and prioritise the welfare and wellbeing of our pupils and staff.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate contacting the relevant School Office.
