Leybourne Chase Ofsted - Good!

Valley Invicta Primary School at Leybourne Chase has retained its Good grading following an Ofsted ungraded (Section 8) inspection on 21 and 22 February, this year. The Trust is also very pleased to say that the inspector felt that the evidence gathered suggested that the grade might be Outstanding if a graded (Section 5) inspection was carried out now. This means that Ofsted will return to the school within the next 13 months to carry out a graded (Section 5) inspection. Huge congratulations to everyone at Leybourne Chase for their hard work and tireless efforts which resulted in this very positive outcome. The report stated: ‘Pupils feel very safe in school and are well looked after by kind and caring adults. Pupils know that staff listen to them if they have any worries or concerns. Children in Reception settle exceptionally well and learn the routines of the school very quickly. Parents are overwhelmingly positive about the school.’ ‘Pupils are very polite and incredibly respectful of each other and adults. Holborough Lakes Ofsted - Good!

Following an Ofsted ungraded (Section 8) inspection on 30 and 31 January, this year, we're delighted that Valley Invicta Primary School at Holborough Lakes retained its Good grading. The Trust is also very pleased that the inspector felt that the evidence gathered suggested that the grade might be Outstanding if a graded (Section 5) inspection was carried out now. This means that Ofsted will return to the school within the next 13 months to carry out a graded (Section 5) inspection. Huge congratulations to everyone at Holborough Lakes for their hard work and tireless efforts which resulted in this very positive outcome. The report stated: ‘Pupils flourish at this warm and inviting school.’ ‘The school is passionate about helping all pupils to achieve their best. Trusting and caring relationships exist among staff and pupils.’ ‘Behaviour across the school is exemplary and learning in lessons is rarely disrupted.’ You can read the full report here.

Starting a VIAT school

With secondary school place offers being sent out on 1 March, followed by primary school offers on 16 April, many parents/carers, pupils and students will be thinking about the transition process. Starting a new school at any time can be a daunting process but, within VIAT, we do everything we can to make it a fun, enjoyable and happy experience in each one of our schools. To give a taste of how we do this, and to show what we have put in place to make the transition process as straight-forward and worry-free as possible, we have created two videos so you can hear directly from our pupils, students and staff. We hope this will help reassure pupils/students and parents/carers alike that starting a new school is an exciting adventure and, here at VIAT, we will do everything we can to ensure each and every one of our pupils and students feel valued, listened to and supported as they start their journey with us. Mr DeJong, Miss Cornhill, and Mrs Marcelle, teachers at The School of Science and Technology, Maidstone, recently completed their Leadership and Management Course with Christopher Waters from Valley Invicta Teacher Training. They received their certificates, signifying a significant milestone in their leadership journey within the Valley Invicta Academies Trust At Valley Invicta Teacher Training, we celebrate every success and we are looking forward to seeing their continued development and achievements!

Kings Hill awarded Autism Accreditation

One of the Trust's primary schools - Valley Invicta Primary School at Kings Hill - is delighted to have been awarded the Autism Advanced Accreditation Specialist Award! The National Autistic Society Autism Accreditation Programme is the UK’s only autism-specific quality assurance programme of support and development for all those providing services to autistic people.  Achieving accreditation proves that an organisation is committed to understanding autism and setting the standard for autism practice. It is a way for organisations to show they offer excellent support to autistic children and adults. Autism Accreditation is an internationally recognised quality standard.
Our Schools
